Shooting Street Style at The Brooklyn Museum of Art

Shooting Street Style at The Brooklyn Museum of Art

Now that Summer has officially landed in New York, it’s time to get outside and shoot again! I have been dying to shoot at the Brooklyn Museum of Art for quite some time. The exterior of the museum is so beautiful and calls to mind sites and landscapes of Europe. Stay tuned for many more shoots to come at this local and inspiring location, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite shots captured by, Maku Lopez. NYFWM: Grungy Gentleman Fall/Winter 2017

NYFWM: Grungy Gentleman Fall/Winter 2017

Jace Lipstein gave new meaning to the phrase, “game on” when he debuted four collections at once for his Grungy Gentleman line during New York Fashion Week: Men’s . Aside from the labels Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Lipstein introduced three of his latest sports-related collabs with the New York Knicks, the Rangers and Indiana University. Fans of the brand know that Lipstein is no stranger to partnerships having had successful ones with sports apparel giant, Mitchell and Ness, Hstry (rapper Nas’s clothing line) and mega boot brand, Timberland. The looks on hand for his latest show incorporated the brands signature six-stripe motif on the sleeves of logo’d team tees, and along the bottoms of trousers, blazers and outerwear. The collections mingled together beautifully and were a study on the guy who loves a good game but brings a bit of style to the stands.
